Our Management Creed

Since its founding, TOSE CO.,LTD. has been engaged in planning and developing a number of game software for household consoles, which is our main earnings driver, and content for mobile phones, which has been making remarkable progress in recent years, at the request of game software and toy manufacturers, according to our creed to serve as “silent force behind-the-scenes.”

Tose will further enhance technologies and know-how that we have been accumulating over the years, and continue to provide entertaining content and services for users in a timely manner, in order to support the development of entertainment industry for the next generation.

Mid-and-Long Term Management Strategy

More Development Orders from American Game Software Manufacturers

In the earlier years of game software for household consoles, Japanese game console manufacturers used to lead the market. Today, the market has grown dramatically since then, and Europe and North-America markets are far greater than that of Japan. Tose has traditionally been commissioned from Japanese clients, but is anticipating more orders from European and North-American game software manufacturers in order to raise profits in huge markets they are in. To start with, we have established a subsidiary in California, USA, which has been in operation as our overseas sales base since March 2003.

Raising Development Capabilities at Chinese Subsidiaries

Since its founding, Tose has been raising development capabilities to process large numbers of orders from our clients. Due to difficulties in acquiring great number of skilled human resources domestically over a short term, we have set up a development base in Shanghai, China, in 1993. We have established another development site in Hangzhou, China in 2001, to acquire more engineering talent in order to further bolster our development capabilities.

Online game and mobile content markets in eastern Asia region are expanding dramatically, particularly in China and Korea. In order to raise profits in such growing markets, Tose will work closely with and firmly support its Chinese subsidiaries to build bridges between Japanese game software manufacturers who have rich game software library and local start-up content providers.

Tose believes that we have to make concerted efforts together to continuously heighten its corporate value for years to come, while yielding benefits for everyone who has stakes in Tose such as stockholders, clients, business partners, employees, and local community. In order to achieve it, we will continue to strive for still higher corporate governance standards by increasing the transparency and soundness of our management and strengthening the supervision of the conduct of operations.
